Pair of antique Georgian silver tea spoons, 1824


A pair of antique Georgian solid silver fiddle pattern tea spoons.
Both spoons have been monogrammed "T" in old english script.
The spoons are fully hallmarked with matching marks
Leopard's head for London, Lion rampant for sterling silver, George IV head, and date letter "i" for 1824. They also both carry the maker's mark "TD" for Thomas Dicks.
Thomas Dicks worked in partnership with James Dicks (his brother?) from 1821 to 1832.
The spoons are in very good condition. Both spoons have very minor dents to their bowl. All wear is commensurate with age and usage.
Each spoon measures approximately 14 cm (5.5") long.
The combined weight of the spoons is 35g.
