A good pair of 19th. Century Chippendale style mahogany open elbow chairs, the shaped cresting rails supporting pierced and well carved vase shaped splats. The upright supports and front legs having finely detailed blind fret decoration. The shaped open arms having scroll carved ends and supports. The legs are joined by unusual pierced “H" frame stretchers and the drop-in seats retain old but serviceable upholstery which would benefit from re-covering. Dimensions:- Width…24.75’’/ 63cm.
