Very handsome pair of mid 20th.c. low upholstered beechwood armchairs. Low button upholstered horseshoe backrest and arms raised on a superb carved and pierced frieze of scrolling foliate forms over a generously proportioned sprung seat. Carved armed supports and front legs, shaped apron and swept rear legs. Upholstered in a gold damask fabric. Excellent condition with clean covers.
