Pair Edwardian Mahogany Chairs
An elegant pair of antique Edwardian mahogany chairs in Chippendale style dating from circa 1910 and stamped J.W. Hetherington Lancaster. In a mellow well-figured mahogany, the backs splats are pierced in a Chippendale influenced design and they stand on cabriole legs with shell-carved knees and claw and ball feet. They are upholstered in a light green velour, are solid and sturdy and would make wonderful bedroom chairs. Stamped with mark underneath: “J W Hetherington Lancaster”.

Good condition. Solid frames. Good colour and patina. Some small marks/stains to the fabric, upholstery is sound. A few small scuffs and scratches to frames commensurate with age.
