We are selling this qualiy pair 19th Century French bronze figures. After Louis-Simon Boizot, French (1743-1809) The pair of bronze figural groups of the Rape of Prosperine by Pluto and the Rape of Orithyia by Boreas

Both are on circular naturalistic bases, Prosperine and Pluto modelled with a pedestal and an up-turned urn, Prosperine clasping a floral garland, bearing the signature Girardon, dark brown patination, Orithyia and Boreas bearing the signature Gaspard Marsy.

Measuring 43cm high and 48cm high and in good condition.
