Outstanding Chippendale Style Carved Walnut Suite
Finest quality late 19th century Chippendale style carved walnut three piece drawing room suite in very good condition.
The first thing to say about this suite is, it is without any doubt one of the best I've ever seen. The quality and workmanship of the show wood is outstanding. The colour and patination is also superb.
All three pieces of the suite have carved claw and ball feet all round including the back legs with carved rounded aprons between the legs also all round.
The upholstery is in pretty much very good condition with only slight wear in places, the cushions are all feathers and it is extremely comfortable.
As you might expect due to its quality, the pieces are heavy especially the sofa.
When you see the prices of modern rubbish suites this is an absolute bargain.
SIZES The sofa 78" wide by 41" deep by 29" high at the back
The pair of chairs are 32" wide by 41" deep by 29" high at the back.
