An Original George I Period walnut kneehole desk.c.1720.Quarter veneered top with herringbone crossbanding throughout.Unusual set of drawers to the centre arch with shallow drawer to the front flanked by a row of drawers to each side.Beaded trim to each.Original brass fittings.Standing on turned bun feet typical of the 1720-25 period.Superb colour and patina.
