Original 1950s Vintage Movie Poster
Possibly one of the best titles ever given to a movie, the “Last of the Badmen” film poster features a gruff cowboy glancing sideways and pointing his revolver, his hat at a jaunty angle, against a bright yellow background. There are two small inset portraits of cowboys, as well as a rather racy dame with her leg on the table, showing off a bit of raunchy calf. The caption for the poster “LAST of the TOUGHEST! DEADLIEST of them ALL!”, has got to rank among some of the greatest. Fantastic.
A most exciting and meaty title, this Western film, didn't quite live up to its name, and will not go down in the annals of film greats, though we don't mind. It does, however, feature James Best, who later became Quentin Tarantino's acting coach (for better or worse), and hit stardom as Sheriff Rosco P Coltrane, the hick cop who spent six years trying to bring Bo and Luke to book in 'The Dukes Of Hazzard'. So there's a bit of movie trivia for you.
The poster is in very good condition, and is framed and glazed in a contemporary black frame with an inset border, ready to hang.
