Circa 1870, oak and leather upholstered horseshoe shaped captains chair. With upholstered top rail in deep button red burgundy with brass studs, all held in place with foliate carved, shaped uprights. The serpentine front seat, also upholstered and deep buttoned leads on to outswept back legs and turned front legs with applied oak studs and brass and brown porcelain castors.
