Description
A good mahogany circular wall clcok. It has a mahogany case with a slim outer wooden rim and a cast brass bezel, a convex glass and a convex painted dial. The outer pegged case has a bottom and side door. The 8 day fusee movement has shaped plates and a large brass bob pendulum The dial is signed by the maker, Quaffe of Battle.
Provenance
Thomas Quaffe of Battle, Sussex, was born in 1806 and worked in Battle 1833-1859.
