Very unusual late 19th.c. metamorphic music stand and side table c.1890. Burr walnut veneered top with folding book or sheet music stand at the bottom edge. Angle adjustable with a hinged brass bracket at the rear and also movable side to side. Rises and falls on a brass column within a tripod walnut base with turned supports and shaped feet raised on brown pot castors. With the music stand folded away and the top laid flat it becomes a useful little lamp table. Excellent condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
