Handsome early 19th.c. mahogany cheval or dressing mirror on stand c.1830. Original 31½" x 23" mirror plate with bevelled edge within a crossbanded mahogany frame. On a superb mahogany stand with turned uprights topped with a fine pair of octagonal spire finials. Large turned knobs at either side to lock the mirror at any angle. Turned stretcher, scrolling brackets and original brass castors. Some tarnish to the mirror plate which could be replaced if preferred. Otherwise excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
