Magnificent Chinese navy blue porcelain table lamp
This is a magnificent vintage Chinese navy blue baluster-shaped porcelain table lamp mounted with good quality brass fittings including three bulb holders.
With a height of almost 21 inches to the rim of the vase this is an imposing lamp which would display well on a centre table or a larger side table. Ideally, it would need a shade 20 to 22" in diameter at the base.
Dimensions: Height to top of vase 53cm, height to top of lampshade fitting 87cm, width (max) 21cm. It has a 1.55 metre cable with a fitted switch.
Condition: The wiring has been professionally checked and high voltage tested. The lacquer on the brass fittings is a little worn here and there resulting in a two tone colour. There is a pin prick in the glaze on the shoulder (see last photograph) and some marks close by, but no chips or cracks.
