A handsome late Victorian oak hall chair dating from circa 1890. Featuring a guilloche carved top rail above a turned rail back topped with turned finials. Solid, over-sailing seat slab with reeded edge moulding supported by turned legs and reeded cross-stretchers. Solid and sturdy and in good condition this attractively shaped, high quality chair has beautifully figured oak with a rich warm patina. Stamped with letters/numbers underneath the seat rail.

Good original condition, general wear and marks commensurate with age. Solid old mend to the front leg. Some pitting and wear to the top corners of the seat.
