Late 19th / Early 20th C. 800 Silver Table Bell

This is a very attractive Continental 800 Silver Table Bell from the late 19th / early 20th century. The bell has embossed scroll and flower decoration on a textured background all around the body with a triple scrolling bracket handle at the top. It has a very sweet ringing tone.
The bell is stamped 800 for 800/1000 grade silver and has a makers' mark of a figure in a rowing boat, which unfortunately we have been unable to identify. We believe the bell is most probably German in origin.
Condition is good with just the superficial surface wear that you would expect with use and the passage of time. Please make sure to view all the photographs.
The bell 8cm / 3.1ins high and is 5cm / 1.9ins in diameter across the bottom rim. It weighs in at a very respectable 82.8g / 2.9oz of solid silver.
Shipping in the UK is £10 by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which includes cover for the value of the bell.
Overseas customers, please ask us about shipping costs to your country before making a purchase.
