Circa 1880, large Victorian mahogany desk chair upholstered in red leather. The arms are supported by 4 bulbous turnings, and there is a small splat at the back with open fretwork. The seat is one solid piece and is scooped and shaped. Below are large bulbous turned front legs finishing on brass tipped castors, and swept and shaped back legs united by turned stretchers. Substantial chair.
