A very stylish early 20th century German silver cream jug with plain polished body and spout with very decorative shaped, panelled frieze crammed with small flowers including roses and daisies. Simple loop handle with strap effect mouldings and inset panels. Gilded inside. Marked to the base with the crescent and crown mark, 800 standard and maker's initials S.&.D.L

It measures 9cm (3 /2") high, 12.7cm (5") spout to handle and 8.2cm (3 1/4") wide. It weighs 161g / 512ozt.

Condition is very good with no damage or repairs. Two tiny pin prick dints and light handling wear. Payment is accepted by bank transfer, card payments (via an online invoice, I'm afraid we cannot take payments over the telephone), Paypal and UK personal cheque.
