Jones, Ruthin 10" Dropdial Fusee Wall Clock
A Welsh fusee dropdial wall antique clock with a rarer 10" convex painted dial. A cast brass bezel with a convex glass in a mahogany case with the original side carvings. An 8-day duration fusee timepiece mechanism of unique construction (see the photo link).
The Jones family of Ruthin are noted clockmakers in Peates "Clock & Watchmakers in Wales" book. This clock is Circa. 1845.
