James II Silver Trefid Spoon
A silver trefid spoon from the reign of James II circa 1685 shows a fine lace back decoration to the back of the bowl and some lovely decoration to the handle, displaying the art of the maker, believed to be Thomas Allen who was an active London silversmith from 1678 to after 1697. Pierce marks 'MG' and 'MW' appear on the back of the handle.
The spoon is 20 cm long and the width of the bowl is cm. All items are sold with a 14 day money back guarantee.
