A fine quality Swiss pair case verge fusee pocket watch. A shagreen outer case with decorated fine gilt detailing to the front and case back. A gilded inner case and convex enamel dial signed 'Issac Soret & Fils' with original gilt matching hands. 5 minute outer dial markers. A verge fusee mechanism with gilt plates and pierced decorations. Signed by maker and numbered 10220. Beautiful column pillars to the mechanism. The inner case is also numbered 10220 and marked 'Leton'.

Issac Soret is a noted maker who worked in Geneva from 1673. An example is in the V & A museum in London.

Case Width 38 mm.
