Heart Shaped Silver and Mother of Pearl Ring Box
Pretty as a picture, this romantic heart shaped box is the perfect box to present that special ring in.
Made from English sterling silver, it stands on three pretty legs and is fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1909, Edwardian in era the makers initials are also present for the well renowned silversmith, Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings.
The top of the box is inset with a floral decoration made from Mother of Pearl or Nacre shell. The lid opens to reveal the totally original lined interior in blue silk and velvet.
Excellent condition, measuring 1 1/2" x 1 3/4" x 1 1/8" tall.
