Handsome Antique Georgian Desk Chair
A handsome antique George 3rd period open armchair in mahogany. This charming chair has a lovely crisply carved back splat with intricate lattice design. The arms are shaped, curved and channelled. It stands on square channelled legs and has a distressed vintage leather to the seat with a pattern of fleur de lys. Lovely warm age to the mahogany, a beautiful statement piece. Writing to the underneath which appears to read "Wood Knaresborough".

Solid condition. Old mends to the upright of the back splat with some small splits. Old upholstery - leather has worn at edges and webbing has broken. Still useable - a good "distressed" vintage leather look.
