A good strong woodcut of Forget Me Not's' by the famous John Hall Thorpe.  Born in Australia studied and worked in London in the 1920-30s.

It is signed in pencil by the artist in the bottom right hand corner, each colour has its own wood block that is cut by the artist and then printed, carefully registering each colour to  built up the whole picture.

This woodcut has been re mounted and re framed in a simple thin black moulding similar to the original. We have kept the original framers label's and a brief description on the wood cut printing process.

Measurement's  Frame = high 52 cm     wide 33 cm
