Good quality pair pretty Antique Victorian rosewood chairs
These are an excellent quality pair of bedroom chairs. They are Victorian and date to around 1880. The chairs are made in rosewood which is the premium wood for any piece of antique furniture and is in itself an indication of quality. The chairs are beautifully understated with shape and crisply carved back rail. They stand on turned front legs and splayed back legs. The seats have been recovered in a fleur de lys covering which is perfect and will fit in to any bedroom colour scheme.
The chairs are well polished and there is no sign of worm. The back legs have old strengthening brackets. There isno play in the legs. These are solid and ready to go in to a classically furnished bedroom.
Each chair is 18 inches high at the seat and 33 inches high at the back and the seat is 17 inches wide.
