An attractive Victorian mahogany pedestal partners desk. One side, unusually with 11 (most with 9 or 7) graduated drawers, each with cockbeading , original brass pulls, locks and escutcheons. The reverse with 3 drawers and 2 panelled cupboards, each having 3 mahogany faced interior slides. The cross banded top with antique hand dyed tan/brown leather writing surface with gold and blind tooling. The whole standing on plinth bases with thumb moulded edge and hidden castors. London maker “ R. Loader” Oak lined drawers, good quality figured mahogany,original patina and working locks with keys. Sizes Height...29''..74cm Width...48''...122cm. Depth...32.5''..83cm.
