Georgian Scottish Silver Table Spoon Glasgow 1821 Silver Scottish
For sale is a lovely Scottish George IV silver table spoon.

This fiddle pattern Georgian spoon is in a really good condition, the bowl shows very little ware other than age related surface scratches commensurate with its age. The handle carries a lovely ornate 3 letter inscription (RAL) and the reverse of the handle carries hallmarks for Glasgow 1821 with the makers mark for Donald or David McDonald DMcD. (In the literature regarding this maker, there is some confusion as to whether he was a Donald or a David McDonald.) The spoon is in a very good antique condition. The makers mark, although easily legible, is slightly rubbed over the McD.

The spoon is 8 and 3/4 inches long and weighs approximately 68.0g
