Good late 18th to early 19th century Georgian Scottish mahogany arm or desk chair in the style of Gillows. Lovely design back with reeded decoration and flame mahogany veneered panels. The chair with turned legs with reeded decoration that kick out at the bottom. The chair has reeded decoration to all parts. The upholstery has been recently re-done so is in very good condition. The chair is completely solid with tight joints. There is a small old repaired crack to the top of one of the arms but this is the only repair.

The chair is a gorgeous colour with original patination and waxed finish.
