Georgian Mahogany Tray Top Commode Night Cabinet
A handsome and fine quality George III period mahogany tray top commode or night cabinet, having a gallery top with handles above two cupboard doors, above what was formerly a commode now converted to a drawer (probably at some point during the 19th Century), and raised on square chamfered legs.

Condition and Details of Restoration
This item is in original structural condition (apart from the drawer, as noted above) and is completely sound. The polish had been revived, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There is what appears to be an old burn mark to the left hand side, and minor other old marks and repairs under the polish commensurate with the age and use of this item in our opinion the photographs are representative.
