Fine late Georgian mahogany tilt-top tripod table c.1800. Solid single piece mahogany top, of 27″ diameter with a rounded edge. On a revolving ‘birdcage’ movement with lovely little turned columns, the top can also be tipped to vertical and, quite unusually, retains the original brass catch. Raised on a crisply turned column and shaped tripod legs with pointed feet. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops
