A good quality Georgian mahogany drop-leaf side tea table.
c1770.
Constructed from incredibly thick and heavy mahogany.
A very useful design, having a single drawer to the front, which is mahogany lined, with a green baize base. Having brass swan-neck handles and retaining the original lock and raised brass escutcheon
Gate leg action to the back, opening the table to a very useful large square.
Good rich colour to the top, with attractive figuring to the mahogany.
Standing on square legs with moulded fronts.
Solid, sturdy and strong.
Rich, warm patina.
In excellent antique condition.

Depth-47cm. Depth extended-89.7cm
