This is a handsome Georgian mahogany lowboy slightly larger than most which would make an ideal dressing table or occasional table. A rectangular solid mahogany top with moulded edge above three oak-lined drawers with the original brass handles above an arched recess, supported on cabriole legs with scroll and acanthus carved heads, on ball and claw feet. The quality of the acanthus leaf carving on all four legs is particularly noteworthy.

Condition: This table is in very good antique condition. The top has some old ink stains but we think this just adds to the character. A brass backplate on one of the handles has split but is secure. More photographs of the table are available on request.
