Antique large Georgian mahogany chest of drawers C1820.
This is a lovely chest, that is full of age and character.
A rare quality piece with clean simple lines.
The oak lined drawers slide freely. We have no keys and the locks are consequently untested.
Overall maximum dimensions: 126cmW x 57.5cmD x 96.5cmH.
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. Replacement handles and later steel strengthening to the underside of the feet (not visible in normal use).
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 (more if an awkward route or stairs are involved) strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
