This is a lovely Elegant Georgian 2 over 3 Mahogany Chest of Drawers resting on splayed bracket feet with shaped apron. It is well made and in good condition with lovely rich colour and patina. The drawers are Graduated, all dovetailed jointed, in great condition, slide nicely and are fitted with turned wooden handles. As can be expected with the age, there are a few minor repairs to the veneer on the top, and also a hairline crack in the centre of the top, under the polish with no crazing or shakes. These do not impede or spoil the aesthetics of the chest, just add that extra character. The overall finish to the top is lovely with a great patina, as is the rest of this quality chest of drawers ready to grace any home.
