This Stunning Georgian Mahogany & Inlaid Bow Fronted Chest of Drawers is in great condition having a Square Edged top sat above Four Graduated Drawers below, all of Dovetailed Construction, fitted with Brass Escutcheon's and Handles, original Paper Linings and adorned with String Inlay, the top Drawer in particular has detailing giving the impression of three smaller Drawers with a Central Oval Veneer, Flanked either side by Two Inlaid Panels, this Top Drawer has two Dividers inside, all Drawers Run Smoothly and are fitted with locks to which there are Two Keys, all coming to rest upon shaped Bracket Feet. The Chest has had some small professional Veneer Repairs, but has no Side or Top Shrinkage Splits which are all to common in pieces unfortunately these days. This Chest is Large and Heavy and solidly made, but with beautiful Veneers and Patina and Good Deep Drawers making it ideal for all that Storage.
