Georgian Country Oak Hall Chair
A Georgian country oak single hall chair with shaped back splat over a solid planked seat raised on square legs with joining stretchers. Original polish finish and colour. Circa 1780.
This is a super, honest Georgian antique chair, with the original polish, finish and colour.
As you would expect with a piece of this age, there are surface scuffs / scratches and signs of historic woodworm (extinct but treated for good measure) - all commensurate with regular use over 200+ years.
This lovely country chair is solid in joint, has no wobbles and is peg joined.
This antique chair exudes Georgian country house charm and would look fabulous in a hallway or kitchen.
