George V Silver Salt Spoon, Arthur Price, 1930

This is a neat George V Sterling Silver Salt Spoon in the classic Old English pattern. There are no initials or personalisation of any kind.
The salt spoon is made in Birmingham by Arthur Price & Co and dates to 1930. Arthur Price founded his company in Aston, Birmingham in 1902. Initially they specialised in electroplating but in the mid 1920s they started to produce Sterling Silver items, paricularly flatware, alongside their electroplating business. The firm is still managed by the Price family today.
Condition is extremely good, with no dings or dents, no salt corrosion and just the superficial surface wear that you would expect after over 90 years of use. Please make sure to view all the photographs.
The salt spoon is 6.7cm / 2.6ins long and weighs in at 5.6g / 0.2oz of solid Sterling Silver.
The hallmarks, on the underside of the stem, are well struck and clear to read. They show the lion passant for Sterling Silver, the anchor assay mark for Birmingham, the date letter F for 1930 and the distinctive A.P & Co makers' mark for Arthur Price & Co.
Shipping in the UK is £4 by Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For.
