Everyone needs one!!! no dining table is complete without a silver stilton scoop!!! and this George lV example certainly fits the bill. It has a push-off mechanism, is hallmarked Birmingham 1824 and is possibly by John Thornton.

The condition is good, there is a minor crack to the bone handle, this is not detrimental.
