A good George IV, English Silver Dessert Fork dating from c1828. The fork is Old English Pattern with a beaded edge.
It is hallmarked with the maker's mark "IL/HL/CL" for John, Henry & Charles Lias, the Lion Passant sterling silver mark, the Leopard's Head London town mark, the date letter "n" for 1828/29 and the Monarch's Head duty mark.
There are engraved initials to the terminal.
