Circa 1780, George III elm country corner chair. The large splat continues to become the arms and is held in place by 3 turned uprights.In between the uprights are 2 open fret work panels. The drop in seat is upholstered in green leather. The front and side legs are reeded. The cross stretcher between the 4 square legs ensures stability. (There is an old repair on the top)
