Gents 1970s Tissot Seastar yachting wrist watch, model 40.502.

The watch has a signed Tissot 871 movement (Lemania 1281) which is working nicely. This calibre of movement was in production from 1943 until 1969,
The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the later plain winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel, there is minor marking but overall the condition is good. The inside of the screw-on case back is signed with the Tissot logo.
The lens is in good condition, just minor marking which is really only visible through a magnifier.
The signed reverse panda dial has three subsidiary dials, one for constant seconds, one to record up to 30 minutes (including the blue five minute segment used to measure the time of a regatta start) and one for recording up to 12 hours.
The watch comes a later Hirsch rally strap and there is also a later stainless steel rally bracelet, not original but of the correct design and period.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
