French Striking Mantel Clock Japy Freres French mantel clock
A good French Japy Freres mantel antique clock with all the most desirable features- bell strike, mercury pendulum and a great shape. Strikes the hours & half hours. White enamel dial with black Roman numerals. Blued moon hands. The case is made from oak with an acorn terminal to the top. c 1880. NB A chip to the enamel at 6 o'clock has been filled at some point in its history.
