French Sandalwood and Silver Gilt Art Deco Compact
Stunningly stylish Art Deco compact in Sandalwood with silver gilt edging and an amber (glass?) cabouchon. Complete with mirror and original powder mesh.
The piece is marked as French silver, with the Minerva mark and a lozenge shaped makers mark.
Condition -
Excellent condition, no damage to the silver.
Sandalwood sections are all in perfect condition, with no warping, splits or staining
Mirror and powder mesh in excellent condition.
Hinge strong and straight, box closes cleanly.

Width 84mm, Depth 73mm, Height 18mm
