French Marquetry Kingwood Commode
Circa 1860, large French marquetry inlaid Kingwood commode. The serpentine top is in pink variegated marble with a moulded edge over two deep bombe-front, oak lined drawers with marquetry and arabesque inlay, ormolu rococo handles and escutcheons. There is conforming inlay to the sides and it stands on cabriole supports with extensive ormolu mounts.
Size 90 cm high x 120 cm wide x 60 cm deep.
