Remarkable French Empire side chair c.1820. Mahogany frame with a padded seat (height 19½") upholstered in a soft green corduroy fabric. Large Classical inspired acanthus and laurel wreath brass mounts to the backrest. Ionic capitals to the tops of the legs with also feature a chased brass band and brass feet. Very good condition with clean and serviceable upholstery. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
