ART DECO DESK - WRITING TABLE
A super quality small writing table produced in France tin 1925 by Maurice Alet, it has a inset leather top and single drawer with silvered handles, working lock and key, it stands on a curved x framed base with chromed stretcher, stamped with inlay to the front of the drawer by Maurice Alet (1874- 1967) who trained in Decorative Arts with Jean Riviera at The school Fine Arts in Toulouse. The desk has been fully restored, hand polished and had a new leather inset top with silver detailing and is in excellent condition throughout.
