Framed Georgian Hand-Coloured Engraving of an Owl
Artist - Engraved by B. Green after the original by A. Green.
Title - Untitled
Details - Hand-coloured engraving of an owl in a tree. Dated near the bottom Sept 7th 1782 and stated as 'Pl 2'. Framed and glazed in an antique Victorian gilt-painted ebonised wooden frame.
Condition - Overall in good condition. The paper is discoloured with age and has some scuffing and small tears. The frame has some scuffing, chipping and wear with some minor losses. There is some minor shrinkage cracking to the corners.
The approx. measurements are as follows:
Image Size - 37.5cm by 27.5cm
