FINE early 19th century small size George III bow-fronted mahogany and inlaid sideboard. Only 38 1/2" wide with square tapered legs and spade feet. The sideboard has three drawers, two large ones at eithert end and a smaller one in the middle. The drawers are beautifully veneered with a round circle in the middle with a kingwood and boxwood line inlay then quarter venered with a boxwood and satinwood line inlay to the edge. The top is a wonderful grained piece of mahogany with a bold multiple reeded edge. The sideboard also has other boxwood and ebonly line inlays to various parts.

Fully oak lined drawers with original brass locks and old replacement brass handles which are perfectly in keeping.

One of the large drawers has originally had divisions for wine bottles but now they are both just open drawers.

The peice is a gorgeous colour with lovely original deep patination from years and years of waxing.
