A Fine Quality Antique Sugar Shaker By Garrard & Co. British Crown Jewellers since 1843.
Founded in 1722, Garrard & Co are best known for many of the Crown Jewels commissioned by various British Monarchs on display in the Tower of London.
This elegant sugar caster/shaker is hallmarked for London 1908 and the silversmith's initials SG for Sebastian Henry Garrard. Also marked inside the base 'GARRARD, HAYMARKET, LONDON'.
Standing a substantial c.240mm (~9.5inches) tall and c.95mm (~3.75inches) girth. Weight c. 163gm (~5.75oz).
Very good condition with little wear.
