Fine Early 19th C Mahogany Campaign Table
-Welcome to Mersham Manor Antiques-
A superb example of an early 19th c mahogany campaign table.
c.1825.
Constructed from solid mahogany, of excellent good rich colour and figuring.
The top of rectangular form, with a moulded edge.
This elegant table folds completely in half, making it very slender. Used by high-ranking British army officers who often carried high-quality portable and folding antique furniture.
Standing on a wonderfully elegant serpentine shaped, X frame support with turned stretchers.
Very solid sturdy and strong.
In excellent antique condition. Expected minor signs of age and use.
