An engraved silver compact mirror which was assayed at Chester in 1947. This sterling silver compact is in good condition. The lid & base have smart engine turned designs. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The mirror gives a clear & accurate reflection. The mirror has a few subtle age spots which do not spoil the enjoyment of this vanity. This compact is suitable as a handbag mirror. Measures 7 cm X 6.5 cm & weighs 81.4 grams.
